I know there has been a lot of threads discussing paint protection films but I am curious what people think of them after they have had it on their bike for several years. I hear a lot about wax and dirt slowly being built up along the edges and making the film edge much more noticeable than it was when it was first installed.

I live on gravel roads and have been thinking about having it put on a new bike but concerned that I may regret doing so as the years go by.

Anyone who has had it on their bikes for some time have anything they could share?
