My bike should be out of paint inside a couple weeks, then have to get it put back together. Will try to remember to post then. The base is House of Kolour Galaxy Grey but the painter is a wizard. I gave him a theme so very much looking to the finished product. Not too worried about copycats as not to many other people out there with a 7 gallon tank.

Base is Ford Tuxedo Black, which has a lot of fine metallic and pearl in it, and the flames are House of Kolor Red/Gold Translucent flakes. Almost impossible to get a good picture of it, but it looks awesome out in the sun. In shade it looks like regular black and the flames are hardly visible. I did all the prep work and masked the flames, had one of the guys I work with spray the paint. 14 coats of clear.

I love the look of a black Harley, but I wanted something a little different. Really happy how it turned out.

Here is my 04 Wide Glide. I used Planet Color Big Bad Orange and Planet color classic black. When I did the clear I mixed some of the Orange that I had left with it because it had the pearl in it and the black didn't. Got a cool effect over the black with the "pearl" clearcoat.

Default red paint

I trying to teach myself the fine art of painting, along with you tube as my teacher. I a am beginning to enjoy it. The first pic is on paper and then to the fuse box cover. Also put some stripes on the tank as well. I figure I'll get better as time goes by, maybe not, well see. Not sure how to rotate the pictures. More learning to do.

When I bought this bike with the factory olive green paint, I knew exactly what it needed.
