Hey guys need help. Last year installed new SE cams 205. 2011 Street glide 96" 10k miles. PcV tuned by dealership last fall. Owned bike since 1k miles on it. Cams installed 2k miles ago. Jackpot header, monster rounds.

Problem is when engine gets warm, sitting at a stop light. Go to leave and pop,pop,pop hesitates to go. Pull in the clutch give it some gas and its leaves from the stop just fine. It did this after cam install but only if engine got very warm, on warm days. Now it's Getting worse. Will not do it until engine is warmed up. Has never died but very annoying. Checked for exhaust/intake leaks. Installed new plugs and wires. Runs very strong, and no other problems until wanting to leave from a stop. Any ideas on this before I take to dealer to tell me they don't know what's wrong. I was told it's probably the throttle position sensor from the dealership service department. Can't find the tips on my bike. Thanks guys. Any ideas?

 

Could be the TPS or even the IAC. Easy to clean if its dirty. If its failing, easyish to replace.

 

Roll the throttle all the way forward for 5 seconds with the engine running and most likely your problem will be solved.

 

That's what I was thinking, ETMS kicked in.
