True.
Gotta have leather ***** to play rugby...
I spent some time out of the country earlier this year and the only sports on TV were cricket and rugby. Never could understand the rules of cricket.
Became a rugby fan. Would rather watch it than the watered down NFL anymore.

proper outerwear is made for hot weather as well, yes it is tragic someone screwed up.
Which one, I am not sure, but if he was wearing the proper gear, who knows it might have helped. I am guilty of not wearing proper gear in hot weather too, I do 90% of the time. Guess I have been lucky, and a bit of a hypocrite.

Why is the motor officer not wearing full leathers ???
Is it prudent to wear full gear - yes. That really is a simple fact.
I don't, probably never will. I, like others, believe if it's your time, it's your time. I do however wear a lid most times, 100% of the time on the highway.
I'm guessing the Suzuki rider was inhibited by all his gear and crossed the double line.

Angeles Crest Highway, what else is new.
5 years ago a sportbike rider came around a 25 mph blind corner at approx 70 mph and rear ended a friends Chevy Suburban.
The rider was conscious and appeared to be lucid during the wait for the airlift. He died in the hospital later that evening from internal bleeding.
While my friend was found to be completely not at fault, he still deals with this today.

Now to the blame there was no mention as to who did what nor did I make inference to imply who caused the accident.
What I said riding a mountainous area ill equiped is dumb.

It is a shame because this is some awesome riding country and just take a few to screw it up for all of us.
