I opened up the forum and saw this story about a head-on collision.

The text indicates the Sportster rider had to be airlifted and the Suzuki rider walked away. The story indicates the Sportster rider was only wearing a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers compared to the full ATGATT the Suzuki rider was wearing.
The writer adds conjecture that the Harley rider may avoided the airlift had he been wearing full gear too. The writer goes on to suggest wearing full gear inspite of the hot weather that causes some riders to shed it.
Screw that, this whole thing could have been avoided had one of the riders obeyed the law and remained on the right side of the double yellow line.
The writer should tell riders obey the law and ride within their limits.

Umm...one crossed the double yellow and hit the other head on.

 

Somebody f'ed up and that is the only issue. Whether or not someone had on a GD track suit makes no difference.

 

Regardless who is at fault the point riding in twistys with just a tee shirt and vans is just not smart.

 

If he was wearing modern ATGATT, it has armor built in the back, shoulders elbows and knees and it DAMN WELL makes a difference.

If you don't think so, go play football without any pads.

 

And even if you are wearing ATG and cross the line that is even dumber. Put the blame where it belongs.

 

It never says who crossed the line.
