Harley stage 1/airbox sensor

HelloI have fuel injected 2006 Harley Street Bob.I have fitted Screamin Eagle II pipes and Stage 1 kit, and had it remapped by Harley. To fit the newair filter partsetc. I had to remove the back of the original air filter, which entailed disconnecting what looks like a sensor mounted in the OEplastic filter mount. Will leaving this part (air filter/manifold sensor?)disconnected from the fuel injection system affect anything, as there was no mention of this in the stage1 fitting instructions? Or do I need to refit the sensor somehow?Hope you can help.Regards

I installed my Stage 1 air filter kit last night and left the sensor hanging. What are others doing, zip tieing it out of the way?

Go to this company http://www.kitechperformance.com/ they are UK based and the parts you need are Exhaust valve eliminator plug and Inlet valve eliminator plug. Parts will cost you £23 plus shipping. If you don't fit them on UK spec bikes the ECM will throw error codes. The plugs fool the ECM into thinking that the UK spec stuff is still on the bike and stops it from throwingthecodes.
