Bought this rain suit a couple of months ago; till recently only needed it for moderate rain, until beginning of this week...
Rode for 5 hours (300km) through some seriously bad weather; it took about 30 mins to get soaking wet (mainly legs and bottom). The zippers in the trousers are only partially covered with velcro strips and I guess it is in the areas between these strips that the water sips through.
Would I buy this (expensive!) rain suit again: definitely NOT.

Post this just only to help others decide if this is the right suit for the job.

 

Thanks for the heads up. I am in market for a good rain suit and this helps in making a decision what not to look at.

 

I have a HD rainsuit mine's the black one with some orange and white on the back. I have never got wet wearing it even in monsoon conditions, but I will put gaiter boots on as well or my boots and socks get wet.
