RE: I tried really hard to buy a HD
Adamec's HD in Jacksonville, FL www.adamecsharley.com has about 10 2006 Brandy Wine Sunglo Ultra Classics that were owned by the local Shriners. Most of them have very little miles and are like brand new. Talking with the sales manager the other day, I believe they would drop the prices below NADA value to move inventory.

Just because they sell Harley doesn't mean they can't be dinks - sounds like the ol' general manager don't give a rats *** about anything except making money - that'll come back to bite him in the asswith time, guaranteed... Got a lousy dealer like that near me too, complete with sales ***-holes at the parts counter. I make it a point to spend my cash at decent places instead, and you should too.

ORIGINAL: Sam...Oh yeah, one other thing, the speedo is in kilometers, but when you look at it really quick, you'll get a big rush, cuz it tops out at 220...

Man im glad I dont have that problem, the dealers down here dont care how you pay for em,maybe its the competition or something throw it on your credit card I had one salesman tell me I find it hard to believe they wont sell you something because you had your own financing. When I bought my last bike just like my last truck I had pre-approved financing from my bank on both occasions they said fine but I think I can get you a better rate, sure give it a shot on the truck they could not on the bike they did,I dont care who finances the crap just go with cheaper for me..

I would let Milwaukee know about this. Email them. Not pleased with this dealer would be a serious understatement. Then again, if Milwaukee had any sense (And they do), they should be monitoring this forum actively.
