So, Bart, is Saudi the price you pay for an Ultra at European prices? I feel for you, and hope the bike is paid for. Good luck, and enjoy that Harley!
Thank you. there are sometimes actions here in Saudi. The country is not comparable with other countries. No VAT, only 5% import tax. The prices can vary because the Saudi Ryal is coupled to the dollar and not to the Euro.
Sometimes you need some luck and sometimes you have to wait your opportunity. Some people are fond of classic bikes, especially on Heritage Classics from anniversary years...I know some people over here, who are real collectors and own >35 Harleys from several years and models. All collectors items.
But also tenths of collector items of cars, from Lambo's to T-Fords.
When you are lucky somebody like these will buy your own riding collectors item or exchange this for a brand new bike of your choice...Wonderfull world overhere.
Used to own RKC which had Beach Handlebars. T'was so cool anytime besides cold weather which wasn't fun at all. My hands would freeze. Now, I own an Ultra...Love the fairing so much. Not regretting one a bit here. So, a Batwing gets my vote.
My 02 Road king before and after the Quadzilla install. My friend just picked up a brand new Road king and asked if he could check out my Fairing 5 minutes later and he ordered one

How do you like the stereo on the quadzilla, especially at highway speeds?

The radio is Adequate. It's got enough power and the 4 speakers do the job. I'm sure there are better set ups you could upgrade to but hey....it's a bike with exhaust, wind and traffic noise. I'm happy with it, no regrets. Haven't taken it off since installing it four years ago.

Ya know, someone's going to dig on you "why didn't you just get a Street Glide", yada, yada. Don't listen to 'em. I like the look of the RK with the batwing. Completely different than the SG.
Nice ride!

Yeah...you're probably right. But I posted these two photos to show the OP what a Roadking looks like with and without the Fairing cause that's exactly what he asked for.
I had money down on a new Streetglide when a friend offered me this with 7K miles on the clock for $10K less than the new SG sticker price. I paid cash for it and never looked back. I only added the fairing for the radio.
I have owned both, and prefer the windshield over the batwing. The only advantage to having a batwing is my hands stayed warmer on cold rides. Other than that, no difference.
I've also owned both. I prefer the bat-wing for extended riding. An extension of the "warmer hands" theory is that you simply have less wind pushing on you, resulting in less fatigue, resulting in more time in the saddle.
For shorter trips with no need for a radio, you can't beat the RK.
I have a Memphis Shades Batwing and love it! What I don't get is the people saying you don't get a clear view of the road with a fairing!? Must be Hobbits!
My Road King with the big standard windshield blocked more wind than my batwing with a decent looking windshield. Now I could put a 15" windshield on it, but I think they look goofy as hell.
