Is the AK-1 the same size as the AK-88?

The "Crazy Als" helmet is also the same, which is what I have. I love it.

 

Don't know about the style numbers. Give 'em a call. There's a place in NYC that sells them too. Re. sizing, I have the AK88. I was juuuuuust borderline M or L, and I got the M, and it's perfect.

I have an AK-88. I was in a bike shop in Knoxville last week and they had several different brands of helmets.They were all the same as the AK's.They all had the ratchet strap(that I like) too. Price wise they were no bargain.
I used to wear a very small novelty helmet with a self applied DOT sticker.The wind noise was so bad I always wore ear plugs.I have almost no wind with the AK and quit the ear plugs. It's nice to be able to hear and talk with other people.

 

Bought a crazy al helmet today. I live in Illinois where I don't have to wear a helmet and usually don't but some bordering states say I have to. Bought a non DOT on the side of the road one day on a ride. About 2 sizes to big and never wore it. Hated spending $109 on a helmet I'll only wear a cupple times a year. I honestly don't see how they are DOT approved
