OCMD Bike Week. So Who's Going?
 

Looking forward to another great week in OCMD. Just wanted to know who else is going and what's your favorite thing down there?

Me and the Mrs. will be down there. Probably get down there Tuesday night if not sooner. Can't wait.

I enjoy just about everything about it. I LOVE looking at all the bikes...everywhere. Like going to all the vendors, all up and down Coastal Hwy. Like the convention center, going up to Salisbury, etc.

We don't buy the passes for the bands down at the inlet, not our scene anymore (maybe 20 years ago), but we do go down to the inlet to see all the bikes parked there. Hanging out on the balcony and watching bikes go up & down Coastal Hwy.

We always do a day ride with my brothers-in-law and their wives somewhere on the eastern shore we have never been.

Enjoy seeing and riding with friends I only see down there once a year.

I just freakin' love it. Are we there yet?

Wife and I are heading down on Thursday. Looking to do a day ride down to Assateague Island and maybe another one north to Seaford. We like to hit Seacrets, Fishtails and Bearded clam. So much to do we just go with the flow!

Some of the better restaurants are up on the Delaware border. Lived there (OC) for 8 years long ago so don't know what is left but there are boo koo great eating establishments. Sure do miss the crabs and shrimp steamed and covered in Old Bay seasoning!!! If you are going to drink take advantage of the bus. Seems it used to be quite cheap to ride it all day for a low price.

I will be there!! Looking forward to LOTS of fun!!!

Heading down for my usual four days with three others. My fav thing is crabcake hoagie at PGN on 29th St.

Was trying to think of one of my favorite restaurants, mostly because of their wings and it finally came to me. Smitty McGees up at Fenwick Island. Don't know if they still have the wall of flame but eat X amount of their hot wings and get your name on the whiteboard. Most I ever ate was 33.

Also The Bull On The Beach at 94th St was where I would often get great shrimp and would often run specials.

Wife and I heading down and can't wait. Been going for a bunch of years. Love the area and the best part is people and bike watching.

Heading down early Thursday morning. They are having 350 bikes go down the boardwalk that morning. Try BJ'S Pub, crab cake BLT is delish!
