White wall browning help

My RK white walls are getting brown in the rear. I've tried everything to clean them. I'm assuming it's the tire themselves. Any tips on getting out the brown. I had read something about white wall paint detail but can't find much on it. Thanks.

You're not wiping good enough.

I also used this when I had white walls. Works the best of anything else I tried.

First, I clean the whitewalls with Windex to get the easily removable dirt off. Then I follow it with Westley's Bleche-Wite and a toothbrush or wire bristle brush. That will get the whitewalls very clean. There are some "permanent" stains that I just can't get out.

I have used white shoe polish on the white walls. Not just on the stains but on the entire whitewall. It is easy because it has the sponge applicator on the top of the bottle. It covers every stain and the whitewalls look better than new. You can even wipe them down without removing the polish.

Especially aluminum.
Old school white wall cleaning was done with a SOS or Brillo pad.

+1

I don't spray it on. I pour the Westley's into a plastic bowl and dip the toothbrush into it or wipe it on with a rag. I use impermeable rubber gloves when using the Westley's.

I just use spray car wheel cleaner sprayed on a rag. Brake dust should be the only thing that gets on your rear wheel. Some aftermarket brake pads give off alot of dust, but are easier on the rotor.,,,
