Exactly .... it use to be you could almost build a scooter from parts at a Swap Meet. Now it's more like a fashion boutique. I did a lot of "swapping" on my FXEF

The good ones are all gone. Detroit use to have a wide array of parts. Lansing too. The guys who ran it have sold out and the new venue was a "Hoity Toity Showplace Venue". Hell parking was $6.00. It has bellied up also. I just heard that there's one in Birch Run ( halfway between Detroit and Saginaw ) and I'll give that a shot to see what shows up. Wouldn't mind picking up another project to pass the winter. We'll see.

Around here the same old tired overpriced crap just gets dragged from one swap meet to the next. Most vendor spaces I wouldn't give them $11 for everything in it.
