Default Is Harley the worst motorcycle money can buy?

No, but Consumer Reports says it is darn close to it.
This recently appearing news article might surprise you as to which motorcycle brand is the best...and the worst according to Consumer Reports, not me.

This article caught the attention of my eye because if you spend any time on this web forum you will see where much of the conversation is about things not working on peoples motorcycles. Maintenance and repair are both a huge part of owning any motorcycle. Anyone who is a new purchaser learns quickly that the purchase price of a motorcycle is merely the down payment. So the fact that Consumer Reports looked at the industry as a whole was interesting. If you are curious as to whether you own the best or the worst, follow the link below.

Well I would of guessed that Yamaha would be on top. They usually don't push the envelope on their stuff, but it is very reliable. Surprised Suzuki is not on the list.

2nd most problematic bike does not equate to 2nd worse bike.

BMW and Harley fans are both passionately enthusiastic about their bikes, regardless of their higher maintenance needs.

Very seldom do you run across someone extolling the virtues, benefits and "fabulousities" of a vehicle. No one has much to say until they have a problem. I'd expect that in many cases the money spent is directly proportional to the expectancy of pleasure of ownership, hence the higher numbers of disappointment related to the HD brand ??? Buy it. Ride it. Enjoy it.

Never use a webpage called fool.com as a reliable source. And especially, never use consumer reports as a reliable source
