Default Best new theft recovery unit on the road...

What a great idea. I'm getting one for my SG, boat, and car. Along with fully paid insurance, this is the best thing that's come along that I've found that has me covered. Small, easily concealed, and no monthly fees... I'm in.

They would have to show me it even works...fine if the person stealing your bike is riding it (unlikely)...but if they pick it up and shove it in a van (very likely) it would block the GPS signal.

I call B.S. How does it 'call out' an alarm or alert to you, and on who's telecom infrastructure does it use without any fees or monthly charges?

What do they mean by "PROACTIVE" Anti-Theft Alerts"? Does it contact police before it is stolen?

Stalkers are gonna love this. Sneak the device onto someone's car, or whatever, and you'll be able to follow them for years.

It appears to communicate to whatever device you have their app installed, like your smart phone. When you activate it must chirp your phone if it detects movement and tracks via GPS coordinates to a map. If so it would use your data allowance on whatever device you're using to monitor. I'm not seeing a need to pay any fees or monthly charges. It would just increase your monthly data usage by some amount.

My GPS signals work just fine (from dedicated unit and cell phone), even when they're stuffed in my center console. I'll give a full report when I get it in May. Bring on the rats.
