First ride and car alarms
Title just about says it all, I unintentionally set off a few car alarms today as I took the bike out for my first ride of the season. Must of done that about 100 times now and it makes me laugh everytime
|
Why does it make you laugh?
Would you laugh if it was your vehicle? |
I would
|
Nothing you can do about it, it happens.
It makes me laugh too. I'd never have a car alarm in my vehicle. Car alarms really don't do much these days. When they were new people paid attention to them. Now someone hears a car alarm and they don't even bother to look, it's just an annoyance. I really don't see the benefit of them these days, touch sensitive (vibration) alarms at least. |

Back in the day, a cop would respond to a car alarm. Now no one cares.
In high crime areas like SF, "proximity" car alarms would activate just by walking too close to a vehicle. Alarms are just an annoyance now, 99% are false. |

Would you laugh if it was your vehicle? Yes. A guy rode by twice this morning and set off the alarm on my truck both times. Nothing you can really do about it. |
I'm sure the people who owns the cars and their neighbors see you in a good way. //sarcasm

My kind of neighbor.

At least you know you are being heard ok.
