I would do a history check on the bike, maybe it's a rebuild from a crash and the neck was replaced. I don't understand why 2 bikes of the same model & year look totally different in that area. Maybe one was a late year build and the front of the frame design was changed. Very interested in the outcome of your search.

Your neck casting does look different. How did you notice it? I've never looked that closely at the neck casting before.

 

Since the bike in question is in Singapore, could it be something that's different on export models? It wouldn't make any sense but it's all I can come up with.

 

Are International model frames different than US models?

 

Looked at a couple parts books online and they changed the part number from 02-03, maybe an early production bike? I didn't see where they called out international as being a different frame.
