hello all

I recently purchased a 2009 Road King and did not realize how the TBW limits the choices for grips

there are many styles on the HD site that are not available in TBW format

I specifically would like to somehow adapt the "NARROW BAND BILLET" style to work on my TBW bike

there must be an adapter available in the aftermarket world, but i can't find it

any help would be appreciated

Nope,there isn't.Inside throttle grip end has to be splined to fit over TBW splines.You must not be looking in the right places for TBW grips because there are as numerous as the old type.

 

There are so many grips available, there is no reason to buy a grip that won't fit.

Avon makes some of the best grips around.

 

I 2nd Avon. I put a set on about 2 months ago and absolutely love them.

I was hoping there was some sort of way to do it, as I got a pretty good deal on a full set of the HD "narrow band billet" accessories... would like to use the matching grips... but i think i will have to find something close
