I like a tall boot, even with wet weather riding gear I've found the bottom of my pants soak up water and with a tall boot I don't feel it.

Those look pretty damn good too. How do those Velcro straps hold up?

The boots have been redesigned some from the pair I have, but if the quality is the same then is should be just as good. I've had mine since 2010 and the velcro has held up just fine. Some reviews can be found here

added ******* I have the On-Road Boot Not the All Road Boot

These are what I have you can see it's a little different from today's style. I'll most likely buy another pair if these ever wear out, sole is still decent even after 80k miles.

Not sure if it's the replacement for the On Road I can still find the On Road but it looks like the All Road is the replacement sorry for the confusion.

I wear a pair that are 12 yrs old. I bought a new pair but different style. I find myself always grabbing my old pair instead of the new ones.

Me. Ive had the same pair of boots for over 15 years (closer to 20 actually). Prospector Patriots. Canadian made and comfortable as anything Ive ever owned. New set of Vibram soles every few years and they're good as new.

One thing I learned early in life. When you can, spend money where it counts! For me, shoes and boots matter. I buy the best I can afford, that I know will be comfortable and will last. Since they were expensive, I don't just throw them away, if I don't have to.

My Corcoran jump boots are 30 years old now. I put polish on them once or twice a year and resole them when I need to. I've got a pair of ankle height Redwings that are just about ready for a resole....

Resoling is usually a heck of a lot cheaper than buying new!

10-4, about 8 years ago , I ran across these HD boots, they were Storm goretex and they fit like a glove, next year they discontinued them and the regular price of 200.00 was slashed... I got 2 pairs $85.00/each... put one in the closet This past year I had 1 pair resoled, they wear great... The were made by Wolverine and in the USA. (mine anyway)... I do have a pair of tactical Danned boots I wear in the summer because they breath a lot better than these...
