Just bought a set to use this weekend for my riders course. I hope I don't find out how well they work, but the video of the guy selling them drops his bike over and they do the job. $25 is cheap

Protectors for your protectors? What's next, protectors for those, too?

These are for the guys that trailer everywhere and want to keep their chrome shiny. They install them while they're backing off the trailer at (name your landmark here) then take them off for the pictures.

Default Captain Itch

Captain Itch makes some damn good looking leather protectors for crash bars as well as a whole line of leather goodies for your bike. If you're gonna put some on, might as well be a good looking upgrade at the same time!

I stopped by my local fire department and got some old fire hose to zip tie to the guards while practicing. I wouldn't ride around town like that but it does the job and didn't cost a dime.

Well... umm... there's always... and you could...

OK, I'm just waaay too distracted by Redoilokie's avatar!

HAHA, if your attitude is: "It's not if you'll drop your bike, but when", then you're just setting yourself up for failure. I know PLENTY of guys who have ridden all of their lives and NEVER dropped their bikes.

The LAST thing I do when pulling out of the garage is think to myself, "is this the day I'm going down". Simply because it's complete garbage that is usually perpetuated by under skilled riders.

Whether you will, might or could ... Just a thought. How about the foam wrap ( insulation ) for water pipes and some tape to wrap them for protection during the Riders course.???
