Captain Itch
Captain Itch makes some damn good looking leather protectors for crash bars as well as a whole line of leather goodies for your bike. If you're gonna put some on, might as well be a good looking upgrade at the same time!

Well... umm... there's always... and you could...
OK, I'm just waaay too distracted by Redoilokie's avatar!
HAHA, if your attitude is: "It's not if you'll drop your bike, but when", then you're just setting yourself up for failure. I know PLENTY of guys who have ridden all of their lives and NEVER dropped their bikes.
The LAST thing I do when pulling out of the garage is think to myself, "is this the day I'm going down". Simply because it's complete garbage that is usually perpetuated by under skilled riders.

If you never dropped your bike, it a matter of time or your lying.
