Did a custom Street Bob Thru HD 1 and it took a total of 18 days from click and choose parts to ready to go from the dealership.

I was a bit sad when gave up my 2011 XL1200N but getting to bring home a 2016 DXDBP is worth it.:icon_toast:

How does that whole process work? Is it all done online or do you pick and choose parts while sitting at the dealer? Can you see what it's gonna look like before you order the bike? Are all the changes paid for threw financing, or are they cash upgrades? Pretty cool idea that I probably would have considered had I known about the program when I bought my Anniversary bike. Instead, I just bought what I thought was closest to my final vision. I think your way is cooler.

You can go online to HD's website and have it print out the parts list you chose or send it to your local dealer. I did it at the dealership with my sales guy and the owner of the store. ( granted I built the same bike over and over and over at home prior)

You put ci the model you want to custom. Add / change stuff you want. I knew I wanted the drag bars because street bobs come standard with the mini apes. You can pick engine trim ( more black or more chrome depending on the model. Rims, seat. Pretty much anything on the bike.

While you are picking and clicking on parts. The website simulates how it will look.

Just go and build one for fun. I did that for months before pulling the trigger on buying one. My dealership gave me a parts catalog and while I was waiting for the factory to ship. I could choose anything I wanted. Probably the only way I'm buying my Harley's from now on. Get the bike exactly how I want it.
