So I emailed my local HD dealer asking them what would I need in order to place an order for a custom street Bob through hd1 customization, they emailed me back saying HD is no longer taking orders because they're cancelling the program, anyone else hear about this?

 

HD1 is still prominently featured on HD's website. Not sure what is going on with your dealer, but I think Harley still honors build orders from their website.

 

Haven't heard anything about that.

 

There have been rumors of expanding it, not canceling it.

 

Sounds like your dealer would rather sell the overflow of inventory that is in their building instead of making a special order.

Try a different dealer.

 

Maybe someone ordered a bob with a full rear fender & crashed the server.......;-)

 

They shut the order banks for HD1 down about this time every year. They are probably confused.
