Hey guys I want to pickup a harley service manual for my 1999 FLHT and although I ordered one and got part number 99449-99 parts and service manual , it appears to be quite general. My buddy who lives in another city had the same bike and he used harley service manual 99483-00. Is there any differences between a 1999 and 2000 FLHT?

 

I think you might find the location of some components might be in different locations on the 99 & 00 touring bikes. For example the TSM, I'm no expert but just some things I've run into with my 1999.

 

There are differences, especially with the front brakes.

I ordered a '00 Ultra Classic so I thought I'd get the "jump" and order a bunch of accessories in order to be prepared to install them when the bike arrived,

Most things fit but the caliper/rotor covers would not.

There may be more changes that I'm not aware of so make sure that you get the proper manual for your bike.
