Default Taking My RKC To Vail Colorado...Need Info.

We rode my RKC to Vail many times. Great place to stay and tour the mountain roads. But this June, need to trailer it there. So I'll have to park the trailer somewhere for week. I haven't been able to find much on the net. Anybody from that area know of a storage place or lot where I can drop the trailer for a week? Thanks in advance.

According to this Vail Village parking is free in the summer. Check what their clearance is.

Park in front of one of the marijuana stores. They won't notice.
Sorry, if my driveway was there, you would be welcome.

Vail Village might take issue with parking a trailer in their parking decks area for a week - I know there has been issues in the past with contractors taking all of the parking spots so I would not be surprised if they start to keep an eye on who/what is being parked there.
Not sure how far you want to drive to leave the trailer but Minturn, Avon, Edwards are close buy and might have parking you seek.

According to their supervisor only about 10 spaces are for trailer/RV parking. There's a 3 day maximum on trailer in any of the Vail/Lions Head lots. And no parking allowed the week (6/18-6/26)_ I will be there. So unfortunately, Vail parking won't work.

After 25 years of socialist Colorado living I moved. Be careful about leaving a trailer of any kind anywhere in that town for any length of time. Someone will have it towed because it might upset some animal or the environment.

You might want to check at the hotel/motel you stay at and see if they would allow you to park while your out touring.
Also check with local police to ensure it will not be in any violation so as not to be towed.

Id almost say rent a storage garage for the time you will be there. Couple hundred bucks for piece of mind not to mention if it hails it will be protected.

Vail Village is a pretty busy area year round, at least in the Summer, Fall and Winter. I'd check East Vail. A few miles from Vail Village but not as touristy and some normal services are available.

This thread got me thinking; rich people often have RV's and trailers too, so where would they put them. So I Googled RV storage near Vail and a bunch of them came up. Try that and see if that helps any. If not, one of the guys in our club lives in Breckenridge, less than an hour away and I can see if he knows of anything around there.
