Oil drain and tranny drain nut size?
 
I can't find this in my service manual and don't want to strip them. What are the sizes of the nuts for the tranny drain plug and the oil drain plug for an '06 RK?

5/8" socket with a 1/4" allen recess in the center.

The size isn't in the manual...but now that you know, did it make the job an easier? If you can't look at a bolt head and pick the wrench or socket, even by trial and error... maybe you shouldn't be working on your own bike. Respectfully, ;)Dave

I think the point Dave was making was that it would probably have been faster to take a couple of wrenches or sockets with you to the bike, tried them to get the right one and get the job done rather than posting on here and waiting for an answer.

I am gettin ready to do my first service(on flhtc). And would have used either/or but never thought they made a socket/allen wrench combo. Thats interesting
