Beading my windshield????
So, I do like the look of beaded windshields on Harleys. I have had a few. But lately I have been using Long Ride Shields as my primary source for windshields. They are a forum sponsor, and make a great product, but not an old school beaded windshield. Has anyone ever added a chrome or translucent bead to a Road King or Heritage style windshield? If so, what brand? 3M from the paint supply shop, or AutoZone stuff? My biggest concern is that the ends would lift away and I might be stuck with permanently glued or damaged windshield edges if it fails and I end up peeling it off.
Lastly..... what's more traditional for a two tone Road King windshield, clear, translucent, or chrome molding/door edge guard, or whatever it's actually called? And by the way, I am running the LRS Medium Tint 15.5 inch Tombstone windshield.
Input please.

Ha! You must be young, cause any greybeard knows the bead is the way it should be. The true old school look. Probably some greasy lawyer came along and sued some one over a vision issue, so they changed the style. But, they are still made today, and in my humble opinion, look the best.

Loved the old look.
