Default Harley Instruction Sheets

Has HD stopped updating their website that contains the instruction sheets? I typically will download the instruction sheet to save on my home computer. Just picked up a heel/toe shift lever kit (33895-82D). The instruction sheet included with the kit is REV: 2009-01-16, but the online instruction sheet is REV: 12-05-2002.

Along with the cheap/extremely poor quality of a HD dealer t-shirt (the cotton is basically see thru), I guess they are saving money by not updating the website too.

If you have the paper instructions, can't you scan them to a PDF file and save it to your computer?

You can't seriously need an instruction sheet to install a shifter right?

Well, the instructions sometimes contain useful info, like part numbers for replacement parts.

Yes, that is what I did. But typically, the original PDF file one downloads off a website is clearer than one that is scanned in.

I didn't need the instruction sheet. The issue is the observation that other instruction sheets might not be updated anymore.
