Help! fit a michelin commander II 140/90-16 on sportster 2002?

Help! fit a michelin commander II 140/90-16 on sportster 2002?
Hi to All
I need help, its replacent momment for my old tires on my beloved 2002 sportster custom.
The stock tires are Dunlop 130/90-16 for the rear.
I want to go on another direction: Michelin Commander II.
But i read the MIchelin Commader II are narrower.
I can put another MCII size without do modication?
Please help me
