Default Motorcycle LoJack Security

I've seen a lot of stolen bikes lately, made me think about a LoJack style system.

Does anyone use or know of a good gps locator for your bike that doesn't cost a fortune?

Something like this? I don't own this or have any affiliation, etc...... Costs around $30, IIRC.

Those units work off Bluetooth and have to be within 100 ft of a device with the app. I was thinking more towards a gps based device that can track anywhere.

LoJack is a recovery system, not a theft prevention system.

Nine times out of ten the condition of the bike after its been stolen is not what most people would want back.

Speaking of LoJack, they no longer sell units for motorcycles.

There must be some information here

I guess I am double dumb. Stopped 1 bike theft at my house after my neighbor called. Held thieves at gp for 20 minutes for cops to arrive.
Second time went to a known thief's place and found my fourwheeler in the back yard. Cops took it from there. I think it is ok to protect the stuff you worked hard for. Don't be a ***** and be robbed blind.

Lojack works gal I used to work with had it on her Suzuki and moved to a iffy neighborhood and they nabbed her bike. Had it back within 24hrs through the cops.

Depends on the individual doing the recovery trust me, been there and got it back.

I'd rather have my motorcycle get stolen and be covered by insurance over trying to play hero and get killed any day of the week.

If my bike is stolen, hopefully the thief eats a tree at 100mph. Either way, I don't want it back.
