Default Commander II's Cheap Price

I'm not usually one to toot a vendor's horn, but I picked up a front and rear Michelin Commander II's from MotorcycleSuperstore.com for $305. I was comparing all the usual guys (revzilla, jp, denniskirk, etc) and these guys for my size tires (130/70-18, 180/65-16) had the best price.........and to boot they're running a 15% off promo (code is pb-tune15) until aug 1. FYI if anyone needs new tires.

The 15% off code is good on other stuff too. Just glad it also happened to be able to be used on the tires I selected.

Be aware,, sometimes cheap prices mean it's new-old stock. You could be buying a tire that's already 5yrs old.
What did you save? $50? Is it really worth it when it comes to the only contact you have with the road?

Motorcycle superstore isn't going to sell a common sized tire that's 5 years old, so STFU.

They were competitive with some of the other vendors, but the 15% coupon code definitely put them over the top. It's good til August 1st according to the website.

I just ordered a MC II from Superstore and the 15% code wasn't elegible for the Michelin's....as the customer service rep stated. Paid $172.99 for it with free shipping.

Thanks for the heads up. I went out to the shop today and went to move the bike and rear tire was flat. Air it up and got it on the table and found it leaking from valve stem base, which on my bike means the tube. Looking at the wear indicators on the tire are fairly close so I'm going to replace the tire and tube. Got the tire, tube and rim band for what it would have cost for the tire with out the promo code. Good deal.

I bought these tires from Bike Bandit the day before this was posted. I did not shop around due to Bike Bandits price matching guarantee, but they now say that it had been shipped I am SOL on their price guarantee.

Pretty lame excuse IMHO as had I shopped around presumably the guarantee would have been honoured
