Default Gentlemen, do not drink and internet

Some days, after 20ish years of doing this I kick myself because I know better, but it still happens. Been at work too long with no bike (work out of state) and I've been eyeballing parts for a while contemplating going from just appearance to a little motorwork. Somehow, it all happened within the last 2 hours. I've bought extra cylinders to be opened up with no downtime, 95" pistonset, S&S 510 cams, adjustable pushrods, a full gasket kit with .030 head gaskets, a bearing tool, and a ring compressor since all mine are meant to drop pistons in from the top.

I am not probably 1000 bucks poorer than I was at the beginning of this 12 pack but maybe I'll get the giggles when I twist the throttle now. Only a couple of hundred bucks worth of machine work when pistons show up and I'm ready to roll.

Also known as stupid and I hope like hell my fine *** wife doesn't look on HD forums a then cut me off when she sees how much I spent.

It's a terrible idea.

And my wife is the queen of wine and amazon. I swear I pay off my amazon acct every month without fail and some months it's more than my damn mortgage.

Yeppers ,, Drinking and posting can cost a lot..

Last week I read about a guy who had one of the city's top jobs with 24 yrs seniority.
He drank too much and posted on-line some of his thoughts and ideas about some people's racial and sexual preferences issues on face-book and it Cost him his job...

One time as I swilled some beers,I bought a $200 item on ebay. The next morning I asked myself 'why the hell did I buy that?"
