Default HD and Marlboro Man

It was on last night, I usually watch it 'cause it is kind of a 'Biker movie" and I like Mickey Rourkes's bike. The scene where Don Jonson borrows the bike has some pretty good riding in it. The rider actually gets some air and pops a wheelie. Has anybody seen a Dyna/FXR size bike ridden like that or is it all Hollywood theatrics?. The movie is from 1991.

I hesitate to answer, but check out big bear choppers and his titanium FXR.

My favorite is the opening scene where he rides into LA from New Mexico. I had a 93 FXR and it was a slick bike but I never rode it like that but a few of my friends rode there's hard as hell. An FXR with some 40" slash cut drag pipes to me even beats the sound of a MK-19 grenade launcher.

If you're on an FXR and the front wheel isn't regularly off the ground, you're doing it wrong.

FWIW, I hate the bike in that movie. Only an idiot would swap the rear shocks with solid rods on an FXR. The whole point of an FXR is the handling. That swap would destroy it.

I'll bet her *** felt like it had been beaten with a ball bat about a mile down the road. I think she sat on the fender if I recall. The bike sounded pretty mean with the pipes he had but the rake and shock set up was probably why Harley was so pissed when he filled up at the gas station.
