Is it legal to lane split in Texas ?

No but ya' gotta catch me first. Used to lane-split with Bill Kruger when my ride was a FXWG chop with drag bars. He's an ex-California guy and flat knows how to ride. We would tear up rush hour traffic on I35 in North Dallas.

Nope. The only state I'm aware of that allows lane splitting is California.

No. Lane splitting is only legal in California.

I have found when I hit traffic backups in the DFW area I ride on the shoulder going maybe 20 mph. I have seen several guys do it and I have passed cops and they have said nothing. Just don't be a jerkoff running 70 on the shoulder
