I just wanted to say "Thank You" to the HD Forums, staff and the guys and gals that brighten every day with their postings. It is a fantastic community, full of characters, jackwads, and geniuses of every description, that make ownership of a great motorcycle (2016 Road King) so much better than if there were no forum.

I've now had my m/c endorsement for 50 years. Took my test on my beloved Vespa 125 in New Jersey, and have owned a total of 22 bikes during those years. 3 Harley's, a ton of BMW's, quite a few Triumphs, and a splash of Asian. Honestly, with the exception of a couple, I've enjoyed them all.

I ride solo, and now most of my riding buddies are no longer riding, but when I am on the Road King, cruising along, I feel pretty much like I did 50 yrs ago. No stereo, no gps, and the cell is in the left bag. Sucking in the landscape, the road, and the breeze.

LoneWoolf I like your attitude a lot I am only 8 years behind you, I have had my motorcycle license for 42 years, but I have only had 7 motorcycles, and I have ridden my money out of 3 of them 2 were stolen and 1 was smashed and 1 I gave away. 4 were Asian, 1 was Swedish, and 2 Harleys. You are spot on about this Forum, a person will be treated so many ways they are bound to like one of them.
