I didn't want to relocate my plate or turn signals. So I used the rigid side plates. I slotted the front holes horizontally and the rear holes vertically just like I did on my previous Street Bob. You just loosen the fender strut bolts and slip the side plate in. There is no way for it to come out.

This is my LRS with the rigid mount side plates. I turned the plate bracket vertical so it doesn't stick out in the way.

On my 13 fatboy I had to get some relocation kits and extra hardware to install a quick detach sissy bar and the only way I found out was by going into a dealership and asking at the service desk

Default Awesome idea

screw the relocation kit. Keep your stock signals.
buy the docking hardware and plates for s switchback.
everything mounts right up and because the switchback has a touring style docking set up, none of the original signals and parts will be moved.

Wish I had thought of this when I had my bob but since putchasing my switchback it donned on me that this would work.

Default 2016 Dyna Street Bob

I have the same problem as my detachable Sissy bar is lil short, but there is another hole in my fender mount but not the docking plate, is it possible to drill hole in docking plate, or use a nut 🔩 where the place I need mount bolt to be ?

This is the quick attach side plate I have It's lil short

This hole is where I need to be to make sissy bar work Is it possible to drill through the docking plate and use a nut on bolt? as docking plate is solid where hole needs to be can a person weld nut there to be able to use?
