Greg1028 I sure wish that I could help you, but I don't have a clue about all I can say is welcome to the forum from central Texas, and come back quite often. Maybe some one will show up pretty soon that might have an Idea.

Wait what????...Welcome to the forum and good luck with your issues...If I can offer a little advice..
1. Try Softail section...
2. Only deal with one issue at a time...
Seems like you have many problems...I think?......

If your dealer couldn't find the problem in 5 months, you need to find a new dealer and get on the horn with the mother ship.
A normal dealer could have scratch built 3 bikes for you from their parts shelves in that amount of time.
(exaggerating, but you get the idea)

I kinda understood it to be that Greg has had the bike for 5 months, not the dealer.
No idea what the 'recording' is, unless the OP was trying to get the dealer to trouble shoot it over a recording and not actually having the bike in their presences.

Maybe step back and rewrite your post more legible and you'll get more help. Good luck

I think he's saying the pcm didn't throw any codes when the dealer plugged into it. I think the rear jug is supposed to shut off when the engine overheats.
