Welcome.........yea...check your oil level.......should be halfway on the stick....NOT full......that's what happens when too much oil.....also check your breathers to make sure they are not plugged.

Also, learn the proper method for checking the oil level. Start and warm up the engine for a few minutes first. Lots of people make the the mistake of checking the oil cold and end up over filling.

There are only two things that can cause this.......oil by-passing your piston rings or breathers plugged causing excess oil to get into the carb. What you explained points to plugged breathers. The easiest way to check this is to remove you air filter cover and air filter. If you have the Screaming Eagle back plate, remove the rubber plugs exposing the hollow breather bolts. Put a large piece of cardboard about 3 feet away from the carb and fire up your motorcycle. If you see oil blowing onto the cardboard, you know that your breather is plugged. Had this happen to me on my way home from Street Vibrations in Reno this year. I pulled the rock box covers, pulled the breathers and put in new filter element and umbrella breather. In addition, I blew low pressure air in the breather passages to make certain they weren't plugged. Resolved the problem. Good luck!

I doubt if it's overfilled...it has an oil tank instead of an oil pan. Can't really overfill the tank, as it is merely a reservoir. I'd guess the umbrella valves need replacing.
