take them to a shipping place and let them pack them, they will have everything to do the job.
My brother operates one and packs & ships all kind of things

But them in plastic bags and pack them TIGHT, rags, bubble wrap is okay, but if it was my stuff, hardening spray foam.

Good advice on using a packing place. I was able to use a small crate I found at work, wrapped them heavily in bubble wrap, then padded with old towels...

Thanks
I have a pair of cylinder heads that came off a 2003 twin cam. They were takeoffs from a brand new bike at the dealer (I do not remember which type of bike they came off) I bought them on ebay 10 years ago. They are still in the box in which they were shipped to me. Each head is inside its own box. And there is bubble wrap between the boxes. Go to the harley dealer and see if the have any boxes that heads come in. Each head will come in its own , perfectly shaped box. Put the heads in those boxes and the put those two boxes inside a bigger box and put make sure you use lots of bubble wrap in the big box between the boxes the heads are in.

At the time I bought those heads a friend told me that the stock heads on the 2003 bikes were the best heads. That is why I bought them. I never used them.

(I might be willing to sell these heads if someone wants them)

Agree with this. No chance of the head surface getting dinged
