Default Bell Custom 500 RSD Check It

I got my new Bell Custom 500 helmet Thursday and today was the first time I've gotten to ride with it. Only a short 20 mile ride to work but I really like it. I've never worn this style helmet and really didn't know what to expect. There was no buffetting and it was very quiet. The only wind noise I got was when I got behind an 18 wheeler. I could hear my stereo much clearer and didnt have to turn it up any louder than before. The size chart for Bell is right on. The helmet fits good and has a fairly plush liner. So far I think it's going to be a good helmet.

Very nice! I bought one a while back, in 2xl. Sent it back because it felt HUGE! Not so much inside but the shell. Maybe I'll go to a store and. try an XL.

From what I understand, each size is a different shell size.

I have loved Bell helmets since I bought my first one in 1971 at K-Mart for $29.99.

I have a couple of the 500's that I have bought when's they go on sale. Yes the are BIG looking on the head!

The wife and I are both on our second Bell Pit Boss which I rate as the number one best all around helmet.

Is your work bench held together with Duct Tape?

Is there anything better?

That's cardboard on top of the bench itself to soak up any oil or fluids that spill.

Bell redesigned the 500 in 2014 (?) To make the shell smaller. Revzilla has a video showing the old and new side by side and it's quite a difference.
