I just changed the complete fuel pump and hoses on my 08 ultra ( 51000 miles) because it was spraying in the tank . But now sometimes i have a hesitation when i give it gas not always but still not right . any ideas or experience with this ? fuel injector ? wires ? coil?

 

is it throwing any codes??? I'd check them first before doing anything else.

first I'd check and make sure the wire loom to the throttle actuator, is clean and tight. Now what you really need is live data. what are the injectors doing, are they keeping the self adaptation correct? (fuel mixture). What is the map sensor doing? Do you have any intake leaks?Without live data, you will just throw parts at it. At least check for intake leaks, and the harness being clean and tight. After that, you need a scan tool. Are you sure you have the fuel line connector on correctly? the one at the tank that goes to the injection rail? I've seen that on, like half way, the bike ran, but not great.Hope that helps

Check the fuel line connection to the gas tank for tightness/locked on.
