Which bike is not too bad ? Roadking, Road Glide or Street Glide ? Riding a '95 FLSTN now but wanted a bigger bike this time. Thanks in advance.

Not being too personal but inside leg measurement is more important. I'm 5'5 with a 31" inseam. YMMV

Welcome from Ohio. Best thing would be to go sit on them and try one on

Pretty much any bike can be customized to make it what you need to be. Your riding style can make a slight difference also (if you only put one foot down at all times). Boots with heels, lowered seat, lowered shocks etc.

I've owned electra glides and road glides and managed at 5'7, 29 inseam.

I own a 16' Road King. At best I'm 5'6" and 28"inseam. After I put a Mustang RunAround solo seat on the King, I have no problems being able to flat foot. I believe that SGS are lower than the RK, but just not my style.

I had a Softail Deuce previously and it was much lower and did not seem as overall large and heavy as the RK.

I would recommend some Dr. Martins Steel Toe if you need a little more reach.

WARNING you cannot tell just by sitting on a bike. If you are just sitting, you do not get a true feel for what the bike would be like to move forward or backwards while straddling the bike. A lot also depends on your physical condition. I'm in decent shape, and work out 3x/week. The strength and flexibility allow me to enjoy the RK, but I can see that a time may come where it will be too much for me. Good luck.

You are the best judge of this! Visit local dealers and try some for size. I've been riding a Glide for 26 years now and am a similar size to you. I've never felt the need to ride anything other than a stock height one, although I can only get the ***** of both feet down. I don't feel any need to lower it. Sturdy footwear is great insurance, so your feet are well supported, and to give you a good foothold.

Much more important is avoiding getting you and your big heavy bike into awkward situations. Don't for example park front wheel into a kerb. When moving your bike around get off the darned thing and wheel it around, as staying seated and 'paddling' it is a recipe for disaster!

Best of luck, we're routin' for ya!

I ride an ultra with a custom a seat (only way to flat foot it).
Other options are the drop frame (not sure who makes it) looks like a fairly big job but should work great. You can also lower the bike (shocks or brackets).

They also sell the "LOW" models, I can flat foot a Limited Low.

I'm 5'8" with a 30" inseam. I currently ride an FLSTN, but I can comfortably straddle a Street Glide or Road Glide with the stock seat (although I wish the seat was narrower at the nose).

Truth to tell, it's not the seat height that bothers me on any of them, but rather the width across that I have to straddle and the extra weight of the fairing and tail trunk carried up high. I like the Softail for its low center of gravity and easy handling.

I've got a 30" inseam. Ride a 07 ultra not been lowered
Sent my seat to Mean City Cycle and had them work on it and all has been good

I am 5-5 inseam 29. I own plenty of Harleys, Victories, Ducati's etc. No problem in riding any of them. Never had to make any changes to fit me either.
