Riding season is over for me temporarily. I have to replace a compensator and a broken Rotor cover here in the near future.

After that, riding season won't be over until I either sell the bike or drop dead!

Once upon a time, eons ago, some smart biker bastard looked at a heated blanket and thought "if only I could apply that to a jacket, gloves and pants". BOOM! Heated gear was born!

I don't know if it went down in that exact manner or not, but I have heated gear and can ride well below 20* as long as there isn't ice on the roads.

40* is nowhere NEAR time to stop riding. I can do 40* with chaps and glove liners.

I'll admit, for me, below 40° isn't fun to ride in. But I wear enough clothes when it above 40°, that I'm okay. The main body part that gets cold are my fingers but I have heated glove inserts that work fine...or they did the 2 times I've used them in 3 years.
