Default Lockable tool box for sportster

I know Harley makes one for Softails, but has anyone seen one for Sportsters? I need to lock up my pistol when I go into work, but I really don't want to put saddlebags on my bike. Where I park at work is a secured area and only accessed by people I work with, none of whom would dare touch my bike without me being there. That being said I still don't want to leave my gun in my swingarm bag.

Or these.....may require additional mounting tabs.

Sometimes what we want isn't what we should do. I personally wouldn't have a gun locked up with an external safe. You could fabricate the NanoVault and make it work. That said, I believe hard mounted saddlebags are a much better and safer alternative. It keeps it much more innocuous with much less temptation of theft.

Carrying a firearm is a very large responsibility. I would never leave my gun attached to the outside of my bike and left unattended.

Do you need to carry, or just want to? If you need to, then take it with you into work.
Or~

Does your building have a security detail with an armory? If so, then maybe they could take custody of your gun while you're at work.

Seems like it would be a lot of trouble though.

Thank you all for your comments. To clarify: Yes I need to carry to and from work. No, I cannot bring it inside the building.Driving my car to work would eliminate half of the time i spend on my bike. so that's out. My bike is 25' inside a guarded gate within plain sight of the guard with only 3 other vehicles. So, the lockable toolbox from JP cycles that Jeff shows above or the one Harley sells is the type of thing I am looking for. Unfortunately they only fit Softails not Sportsters.

I disagree. I don't think having an external locked box is a good idea.
