What do you guys think this One of a Kind collector Harley is worth?
Hi guys new to the forum.
I picked up a one of a kind Harley raffle bike and dont know what I should realistically ask for it.
Figured Id check on the HD Forum and see what Harley Enthusiasts / collectors have to say about it??
Its a Brand New 2008 Harley Sportster 883 with 30 miles. It was a raffle bike for the Milwaukee Wave Of kindness fundraiser couple years back.
It has been autographed by a whole slew of iconic Athletes and celebrities and other public figures.
The bike generated $850,000 in Milwaukee’s 2014 Wave of Kindness Bike Raffle.
Some of the people that signed it include:
Lebron James , Pele’ , David Beckham , Donald Driver , Ryan Braun , Steve Nash , Fuzzy Thurston , Gilbert Brown , Selena Gomez and many many more.
Even has a youtube video regarding it
In 2014 MEARS Memorabilia Evaluation & Research services estimate the auction value of the Bike at $45,000 - $65,000 but im not sure if that value is realistically obtainable or not??
Any Ideas or thoughts on this bike guys?

No idea. You might consider getting if appraised, or at least do some checking around to see if any of the signatures are valuable. Finding a buyer might take a bit of work though. Kinda sucks, if you think about it, it's a bike, but riding it could damage the signatures and possibly reduce any collectors value. As a collectors item, it's kinda bulky to just have taking up valuable storage space.

Sorry to be the messenger of bad news, let me preface by saying not a signature collector, but I believe the major value is the bike, but it's only worth about what an unsigned 2008 Sportser with 30 miles would be worth.
My reasoning.
All the signers are alive, generally signatures of living people aren't worth much because there is no way to determine scarcity because there's no way to know how many signatures they'll sign in the future. Doubtful any signature collector will pay the extra $3000 to get the $80 signature.
A person who wants the bike for the bike is not going to pay much extra for the signatures. One little scratch needing repainted and that signature or signatures is gone, so riding the bike would be highly dangerous financially/investment wise.
So I think basically you can get about what the bike is worth without the signatures.
Your best bet might be to take the tank off, sell it for the value of the signatures and replace the tank with an original or aftermarket tank, do the same with fenders or anything signed, then sell the bike for what you can.
It's pretty cool item, but I just don't think the actual value is increased very much by the signatures. Sorry.
Again just my opinion, I could be completely wrong, I have been before.
