Sure am glad that I took a ride on Thanksgiving and yesterday because I am looking out my kitchen window in Northern California at gigantic snowflakes falling down and piling up fast.

I guess Mother Nature doesn't care that I ain't done riding yet this year. I will give it a couple of days to melt and then I am breaking out the shovel. :~)

 

Keep the snow out there please!

In the 50's here in the Carolinas today but strong winds or I would have gone for a ride. Had my share of wind last Saturday.

 

We are expecting three days of snow and rain here in Southern Utah starting this evening. I did get in a 60 mile putt today in beautiful weather. Around here, we ride if the roads are dry.

 

Last week when it was sleeting with a light snow in the evening, I thought the salt would be thick the next day, so took the sidecar rig out for a nighttime cruise in the freeze (Had enough sense at least to abandon thought of two wheels in that). I missed Thanksgiving dinner with family and still coughing and going through kleenix boxes... though I admit it's more likely I caught it in a grocery store the next day.

 

Snow? What's...snow? High 60s here today but I did where my leather jacket with my T-shirt

 

We are just starting our riding season here.

 

Got out yesterday and today here in New England. I'll go until there is salt and cinder on the roads. The cinder ash crap they use here will be on the roads until about May once they start puting it down. At least in my town. Takes forever to wash away, and they don't clean the roads.

 

Hit 50 here today in Northern Illinois, so I hit the road. Got in 248 miles, it was awesome. I will be putting the bike into storage next Saturday though.

Going to be in the 40's today. Plan on riding. There are not that many days left. Pretty soon riding will be just a memory until spring.
