We've got some sunshine this weekend finally so the plan is to see if I can put a 100 or 2 on it while keeping the revs below 3K. This engine's going to be broken in the right way.
I fully support bringing the engine up the right way. The day I rode it to work coming home I was futzing around with rush hour idiots, got a opening and stabbed it a tad and it went to 4k in 3rd gear. Just blip and there. Went from cussing cages to cussing myself. I just slowly eased off of him. Didn't chop the throttle.
To bad you have to run yours in on crap cali gas. All mine has had to drink is good pure 91. No ethanol pollution chem'ed up junk fuel. I'm looking forward to a 93 pure fuel tune later in the year. Good pure gas maybe why it has a aggressive tip-in.
Enjoy your sun. We are now dodging ice storms here.
