Default Front Brake

Hello. I was just wanting to get peoples thoughts on an issue I have. I have a few different bikes mostly bobbers and none of them have front brakes. I just like how the Old School bikes look without switches and everything. Well I just got a 2003 Dyna FXD and was thinking about removing the front brake, I never use it anyway ( probably because I am used to not having them). My question is should I remove it or not? What are your thoughts?

One of my bikes is a FXD and I'm glad I have a front disc that works. I had problems with the front when it didn't work and it was easy to lock up the back with a panic stop causing the rear to skid. I rebuilt the front and rear calipers and added new rubber. Stops great now.

If you don't use mostly front brake, you're doing it wrong.

I don't use front brake because every bike I have ever had and have now has never had front brakes on them. My FXD is the only bike I have ever ridden with a front brake.

I'd keep the front brake. You might even need it to pass inspection in your state.

not much stopping power with no front brake.
It's your bike, of course...

I was one of those guys way back then who had choppers with little or no front brakes, one day you managed to rig one up finally and you wondered just how the hell your dumb *** hadn't gotten killed yet without it.

Leave the front brake alone.

Sure! Take it off! You won't need that silly front brake (until that little old lady makes a left turn in front of you).
