Looks like a seat for a mid 2000s Sportster, but I could be wrong.

Good call. Factory '07 to '09 Sportster Roadster, with a 4.5 glln tank, I believe. Hard to tell how long the saddle's nose protrudes past the front mounting tang. Long nose = 3.3 glln tank. A shorter nose, 4.5 glln tank. Both tanks were used, depending on year and model of Sportster Roadster.

Looks like a Sportster seat to me also. Not sure about fitment though. I believe there is different applications based on tank size. I don't think the years for the roadster are right. I believe it will fit all Sportys of the proper years no matter model. Only difference would be tank size.

What my previous post intended to say, is that the seat pictured is a stock saddle from a Roadster '07-'09 with, probably, a 4.5 glln tank.
If you click on the link for the "Possible thread of interest", there is a lot of detail, with pictures, about which factory seats fit what size tanks and from which era ('04-'06, '07-'09 and '10 up). There's more to it than tank size.
It is most certainly a Roadster seat, though.

No roadster in '09 unless international. My point is get the years. Then tank size. So if it would fit an 07 roadster with a 4.5 gallon tank it would fit all 07-09 sportsters with 4.5 gallon tanks. Stock Part # is 51558-07. 07 roadster. Small gas tank. # 51558-08 large tank. 08 roadster. I didn't mean to confuse. i thought he wanted info so he could sell or trade.
