If it had a generator-case bottom, it might be believable as a Pan-Shovel conversion, but it's a cone bottom.
The only part from'57 might be a stray bolt.

 

Yeah....poorly worded. I know nothing about that POS is a Pan. Just playing with the description vs the actual motor.
