Simple because every day or every desire for a ride is not the same. I have the 2017 RGU for when I want to really ride and wife with me. When my Granddaughter that needs a wheel chair wants to ride my 1996 FB is just right for her. Today she rode 25 miles to school in it. 40 degrees and she would have rode all day.
Often the second bike is one you just can't let go of. The 96 FB is one of those for us.
Lot of reason for two Harleys. Long as it don't take food off the table no sin in it.
Her joy of riding makes the other bike priceless.

One is ours one is mine. Simply put I have an ultra classic and it's not much you can do to it to make it a "cool" bike. But it is great for the long rides with the wife. My sportster was my best friends that moved to the other side of the country. I wanted to keep something of hers and seen the potential of a fun bike that I could customize. Also a lot of fun for the short rides around town.

I have started saving money back so that I can buy a brand new anniversary Dyna something in 2023 because I don't know if I will be able to handle my Road King when I turn 64, but I will still keep the RKC, for my son to ride.
And just who says their are no more Heroes !
